I don’t know where to start. He was my only onkel. We lived an ocean apart, but I was fortunate to see him for three months every summer growing up. He was there every day after work or on the weekends to do things like play tennis or go fishing. There were also trips to the Boden Sea and Christmas and New Years in Austria. After I became, older there was visits to see me and my family every few years. His calls every couple of months to check in how we were doing were always great. After he retired, he took up golf as his new hobby. We would talk about his golf club and Tiger Woods. He always had strong voice on the phone, and you could tell he was enjoying his retirement. I will miss his him and our conversations. I’m sure he is with my mother, Oma, and Opa looking down on us and I we see them all eventually.
